Meet Bagira, a one-year-old German Shepherd and the Mill Creek Police Department’s newest K9.
Bagira and his partner, Officer Nathan Lerma, first met in early November and immediately became a team. They are hard at work in Thurston County, working on the necessary skills for obedience, tracking and apprehending suspects. They are focusing on developing and honing these skills as they work toward state certification.
