Application and Review Process
All applicants must submit applications to
[email protected]. The application packet requirements include a cover letter and resume, responses to the supplemental questions, if applicable, and may also require samples of work.
It is recommended that applicants carefully read the application requirements for the specific position in which they are interested; incomplete applications will be disqualified. The City only accepts electronic applications for open positions; therefore, unsolicited applications and/or resumes will not be considered or retained.
Review and Selection Process
Completed applications submitted by the closing deadline for an active recruitment will be reviewed as soon as possible. Application packets are reviewed based on pre-established, job-related criteria. Applicants selected to proceed to the next step will be contacted by telephone and asked to participate in an interview and/or testing process.
For most recruitments, candidates who are not successful will not receive any notification. Check ADP for updates regarding the status of current recruitments with application periods that recently closed or those that are open until filled. Please be patient while we go through the recruitment process. Please keep in mind that calling the City will not expedite the status of your application. The City is dedicated to reviewing and considering all applications, and we thank you for your interest in working for the City of Mill Creek.
Reasonable Accommodation
If you require accommodation to complete the application, testing, or interview process, please contact the Human Resources Department regarding the accommodation needed at least one week prior to the date needed if possible.
