Shred-It 2021

Secure Document Shredding Event Back Again; Oct. 23
Posted on 10/07/2021
Mill Creek Kiwanis Club, Peoples Bank and the City of Mill Creek are hosting a document shredding event Saturday, Oct. 23 from 11a.m. to 2 p.m. at City Hall North located at 15720 Main St. in Mill Creek. The first box of materials to shred is free. Additional boxes can be shredded for a suggested donation of $5 per box. All collected donations will help fund community projects with the Mill Creek Kiwanis Club.

Shred-it, a document destruction company that aims to protect people and organizations from the risk of an information breach, will be providing a truck to ensure secure paper shredding.

“Getting rid of sensitive documents in a secure way is hard to do if you are unsure of where to go,” said Sue White, president of the Mill Creek Kiwanis Club. “This community event is a unique opportunity to support a local civic organization while doing a bit of liquidating.”

The Mill Creek Kiwanis Club requests cash or check be used for donations.

The Shred-it event is being held in conjunction with Kiwanis One Day, an international Kiwanis Club day of service to community. Additional information about Mill Creek Kiwanis Club is available online at www.facebook.com/Kiwanisofmillcreek.
