Join the City of Mill Creek on Saturday, April 3 for the Egg Grab N Go event. The drive-thru event begins at 10:00 a.m. at Heatherwood Middle School, 1419 Trillium Blvd. SE in Mill Creek.
This year, the City is offering an alternative to the annual Eggstravaganza event held the day before Easter to comply with safety guidelines for the Coronavirus.
Bags of plastic eggs prefilled with Hershey Kisses are available for children one to twelve years old. To assist with traffic reduction, staff recommend staggering arrival times for the egg collection. If possible, children between the ages of one and five years old arrive at 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. and children between the ages of six and twelve years old arrive at 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Bags of eggs will be distributed while supplies last.
Canned food donations will not be collected at the event this year. Instead, take canned food donations to the Mill Creek Food Bank, 4326 148th St. SE in Bothell.
While the City requests that community members stay in their car, you are encouraged to dress up and bring your Easter basket to the event. Please remember to wear a mask as you let down your window and approach the distribution point. City Staff, Mill Creek Youth Advisory Board members and volunteers (masked and wearing gloves) will be on location distributing the prepackaged eggs.
