They started their own events including Mill Creek Block Party, Scavenger Hunts, Prom Fair, and Parents' Night Out. The board has collected canned food donations during the City of Mill Creek's Teen Egg Hunt, Eggstravaganza Egg Hunt, Kids Fun Run, Shred-It Event, Trunk or Treat, and Tree Lighting Events.

The Youth Advisory Board was a strong supporter of the creation of a skate park at the Mill Creek Sports Park. The impact that this group of teens has had on this community is clear, and it is solely due to the dedication of its members.
