
The City of Mill Creek is seeking one volunteer to serve on the LEOFF 1
Disability Board. The current vacancy is for a member of the public at
large who must reside within the City of Mill Creek. The term will
expire on December 31, 2020.
This is a new board established by the City Council this year per
RCW 41.26.110
to serve the LEOFF 1 member(s) of the City of Mill Creek. LEOFF 1
members are active or retired Law Enforcement Officers and Firefighters
who established membership with the WA State Department of Retirement
Systems prior to October 1, 1977 and have the benefit of medically
necessary expenses being reimbursed by the City of Mill Creek.
Duties of the Disability Board include authorization of such
reimbursements for member health benefit claims.

Regular meetings will be held quarterly, at a time and date to be determined by the board at its initial meeting in April.
