Parks and Recreation Board meetings are held the first Wednesday of each
month at 5:00 p.m. All members must be
residents of the City of Mill Creek.
Current Board Members:
Chair Gordon Keene; Vice Chair Jeanne Rickey;
Members Kim Cortright;
Alan Gingras; Kelly Roy; Issac Seliger; Tim Masterson; Council Representative Mike Todd; and
Student Representative Elaine Kim.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
The Park and
Recreation Board shall serve as an advisory board to the City Council and
the administrative staff concerning the following matters:
A. The acquisition of park and recreation facilities;
B. Development, design and operation of park and
recreation programming and facilities;
C. Facility use fees and procedures;
D. Park, playfield and facility design;
E. Capital improvement planning;
F. Concessions;
G. Contracts, interlocal agreements, and lease
agreements regarding park and recreation activities;
H. A recommended annual budget for the acquisition, development, and
operation of park and recreation facilities and programs.
I. All matters as from time to time may be referred
to the Board by the City Council, the City Manager or administrative staff.
