Civil Service Commission

 

  • Meets the 2nd Thursday of every month at 7:30 p.m. at Mill Creek City Hall
  • Members shall be residents of the City of Mill Creek for at least one year immediately preceding appointment to the commission

Duties and Responsibilities:

To provide for, formulate, and hold competitive tests to determine the relative qualifications of persons who seek employment and establish eligibility lists.

To certify a roster of employees covered by Civil Service.

To hear and determine appeals or complaints regarding Civil Service examinations.

To maintain and approve Civil Service regulations in compliance with State law.

Current Civil Service Commissioners are Jack Eckrem, Kathy Nielsen, and Lyle McRae.
