Adopt-a-Street

PhotoThe City of Mill Creek’s Adopt-a-Street program is a way to encourage citizens to create a healthier and cleaner environment in our community by reducing litter. This is meant to give volunteers a sense of pride in creating a more attractive and welcoming area to live, visit, and enjoy. Participating groups include civic and nonprofit organizations, churches, neighborhoods, school groups, businesses, individuals, and others.

Volunteer litter crews are assigned sections of streets to clean up litter at least once a month. Once volunteers receive training, they will sign up to borrow special kits provided by the City to help them stay safe while picking up trash from the sidewalks and green spaces along designated streets.

Please note that volunteers ages 12-17 may participate, but must have at least one adult per 3 youths, plus a parental signature. Thank you for helping to keep Mill Creek a clean and beautiful place!
