Planning Department
The Planning Department is responsible for long-range planning, which includes:
  • the preparation, update and monitoring of the City's Comprehensive Plan and development regulations,
  • coordination of planning efforts with surrounding jurisdictions, and
  • involvement in regional growth strategies. 
The Planning Department is also responsible for operational planning, which deals with the implementation of the Comprehensive Plan through the administration of public and private land use proposals to enhance the City's built environment.

Council Approves Master Plan for Buffalo Park

The Mill Creek City Council approved the Master Plan for the new East Gateway Neighborhood Park at their regular meeting on December 10, 2013. county ada park 005.JPG See Council packet for more information. 

The Master Plan features amenities such as swings (including an ADA swing), disc swing, 5-12 year old play equipment structure, ADA spinner, Bocce Ball court, two open play areas, trails, picnic tables and benches, as well as a restroom and picnic shelter.
