Contribute to the Quality of Life in Our Community
And Get a Tax Deduction

The Parks and Recreation Department’s primary goal is to enhance the quality of life in our community.  One of the ways we do that is through special events such as the Eggstravaganza, Children’s Concerts, Trunk or Treat and the Holiday Tree Lighting.  The Parks and Recreation Department also provides an extensive recreation program offering sports camps, a basketball league, preschool playgroup, art classes, yoga … to mention just a few.  Funding for these events and programs is partially through tax dollars and program fees; however, we also depend on donations to provide a portion of the funding.  To assist the residents and local businesses who want to contribute to these events and programs, the City has established a 501(c)3 partnership with the NW Parks Foundation.  Donations made through a 501(c)3 partnership are tax-deductible.  A donation can be made by going to the NW Parks Foundation web site (nwparks.org), selecting the “Donate Now” option, and selecting the Mill Creek Special Events/Parks fund.  You can also donate by check— made payable to "Northwest Parks Foundation" designate Park Safety Net Fund for Mill Creek and mail to:  Park Safety Net Fund, Northwest Parks Foundation, PO Box 605, Woodinville, WA 98072-0605.  Please call Recreation Supervisor Pam Olson at (425) 745-1891 if you have any questions or need additional information.  We appreciate your contributions!
