Sprouts Farmers Market to Open in Mill Creek

Sprouts Farmers Market, a high-end natural grocery store, has submitted plans for a store in Mill Creek. The grocer will redevelop 29,942 square feet of space in the Gateway Shopping Center at 13314 Bothell-Everett Highway in Mill Creek, between 132nd Street SE and Dumas Road.

“We are pleased to add this high-caliber business to our local offerings,” said City Manager Rebecca Polizzotto. “Since Mill Creek is mostly built out, the City is in a unique position to be highly selective with businesses that are recruited. Sprouts Farmers Market aligns with the community’s values.”

The store will offer fresh, natural and organic groceries at incredible prices and in an approachable setting that feels like an old-fashioned farmers market. Shoppers will find fresh fruits and vegetables, barrels of wholesome grains, nuts and sweets, a full-service deli, meat and seafood counters, fresh baked goods, tasty and ready-to-eat meals, gourmet cheeses, gluten-free products, sensibly-priced vitamins and supplements, and thousands of natural and organic groceries.

The store plans to open in mid-2018. The space is owned and operated by Kimco Realty.

Headquartered in Chandler, Ariz., the grocery chain first opened in 2002 and now boasts more than 250 stores nationwide. This is the grocer’s first store in Washington. For additional information on Sprouts Farmers Market, visit www.sprouts.com.
